The Elmora Youth Little League Troopers representing their State of NJ faced off for the 1st Regional game in League history. The Troopers and Team New York played a taut affair on Saturday, but the Troopers eventually prevailed 10-9 after taking the lead for good in the third inning. Team New Jersey trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the third inning when there was an error, scoring two runs.
The Troopers built a five-run lead in the first inning and then held off Team NY's charge. Team NY scored seven
runs in the failed comeback on a single by Joseph Raimonda in the second, a walk by Christian Sarcona in the second, a walk in the third, a error in the third, a error in the third, a error in the third, and a
