The Elmora Troopers asserted their will over Bernardsville Mountaineer 12U on their way to an easy 14-1 victory.  In the first inning, Troopers got their offense started. Devin Rojas singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.  The Troopers put up seven runs in the sixth inning. Devin, Sal Garcia, Jayden Rosada, Adrian Rodriguez, and Jayden Capindica powered the big inning with RBIs.

Devin was the winning pitcher for the Troopers . He surrendered zero runs on two hits over three and a third innings, striking out five. Yadriel Jose' Mateo, Jayden, and Jayson L all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Charlie G took the loss for Bernardsville Mountaineer 12U. He allowed three hits and two runs over one-third of an inning, walking zero.

The Troopers  racked up 16 hits on the day. Devin, Danny Ciprian, Rafael Soto, Jayson Labrador, and Jayden Capidinca all collected multiple hits for Troopers  Jayson, Rafael, Danny, and Devin each collected three hits to lead Troopers. Troopers didn't commit a single error in the field. Johny Amato had four chances in the field, the most on the team.

Game 2 Report - July 28, 2018


Middletown Holds Onto Victory As ELMORA Almost Erases 5-Run Deficit
 

Middletown got out to a five-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 6-5 victory over ELMORA on Saturday. ELMORA scored four runs in the failed comeback.  In the fifth inning, Devin Rojas got a RBI on a ground out, a double by Jayden Rosado in the sixth, and Sac Fly in the sixth.

Middletown got things started in the first inning when Danny Ciprian's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Middletown.

Middletown pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Dylan P hit a solo homer and Jason Q singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  Middletown scored three runs in the fourth inning. Middletown scored its runs on a home run by Timmy N.

Gaetano A led the Middletown to victory on the pitcher's mound. He went five innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out one.  On Friday, Reid T started the game for Middletown. He pitched one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while walking one.  The game was suspended by rain.  Since he had pitched on Thursday, by little league rule he could not pitch for a 3rd consecutive game.

Danny took the loss for ELMORA.  He went four innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out six.

Middletown socked two home runs on the day. Dylan went yard in the third inning. Timmy had a dinger in the fourth inning.

Middletown tallied six hits. Dylan and Jason each managed multiple hits for Middletown.Jason and Dylan each collected two hits to lead Middletown. Middletown was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dylan had the most chances in the field with seven.

ELMORA had eight hits in the game. Yadriel Mateo and Danny all managed multiple hits for ELMORA . Yaddy went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead ELMORA in hits.  Danny has a solo HR in the 1st inning.
