Elmora Youth League is a nonprofit organization based in Elizabeth, New Jersey, The league organizes recreation baseball, softball and basketball
for the youth of the Elmora/Elizabeth area. The league is staffed by volunteer parents. EYL forms travel baseball and softball teams that participate in local summer tournaments. Players are selected
from registered participants in the Spring season.

Pitcher Kevin Campbell. Kevin also plays SS and LF for the Troopers. Kevin pitched two innings with 4K and no runs
allowed. He scored the first run on a steal of home.
Catcher Joshua Gruber at bat against Hoboken LL. Josh had two singles for the Troopers.
Centerfielder Omari Hurston. had two putouts in the outfield. His bat was hot too as he had two singles and a run scored.
Pitcher/Shortstop Elliot Lopez.had 4ks and allowed no hits in his two innings. He scored two runs for the Trooper Offense.
Liam Kiniery in Left Field.
Team Manager Campbell admitted he only got 3 hours of sleep the night before the game. The players rewarded him with an ice water
shower after the game, which Coach Kent thourougly enjoyed. Thank You to the Coaching Staff for their efforts.
In our 10th year of Little League Participation, the 2008 11 year olds become the first team to win a Little League District Flag. The
players took the flag for a victory lap around the Hoboken fields which has a beautiful of the NYC skyline. The game host played "We are the Champions" on the stadium speakers. A wonderful
treat for our players. Many thank to the Hoboken organization for their hospitality. Congratulations 11 Year Old Elmora Troopers.

Trooper Right Fielder Brian Sagendorf had a single and run scored during the 5 run offensive explosion in the first inning.

Third basemen Anthony Colletti hit a 2nd inning home run for the EYLL Troopers. He pitched an innnig and recorded three
strikeouts. At third base he had an assist with a solid throw to nail a batter at first.
The players celebrated their victory on the Hoboken Fields.

Catcher Chris Solano had a big offensive day with a sacrifice RBI in the first inning and a double plus a run scored in the second.

Our 11s relax and enjoy a hot dog and soda compliments of the Ironbound Little League. The boys may have lost the game, but they showed heart, determination and great
sportsmanship. We are proud of these players, they represented our league and community well. Thank you 11s for your efforts and
Thank You Coaches for your leadership.
1st Game: The Troopers lost to the Garfield LL by a score of 3 to 2. A tight game that could have gone either way.
2nd Game: The Troopers beat Garfield LL by a score of 11 to 0. The 11s are alive and well in the Sectionals.
3rd Game: Our Troopers played an extra inning game with Livingston American. The game lasted 9 innings. The Troopers lost 10 to 9 but battled every single inning against a good opponent.
Our boys have nothing to be ashamed of as they represented the Elmora Youth Little League with
determination, a lot of heart, never say die and tremendous sportsmanship. We are proud of our 11s, they accomplished so much this season. Congratulations and Thank You to Coaches
