Batting Cage Improvements

Using proceeds from the Cheesecake Sales, the league purchased railroad ties and ribar to frame out the battting cage. The city will add the red stone to the bottom.  Our hope is that this will make the cage more playable. In the above photo, Ralph Abbate makes it clear to the volunteers that the beams must be straight. There are 300+ parents out there who will notice the poor workmanship and they will complain.
